The Top 60 Over 60 has developed a three module learning program called ReSet specifically designed to support participants as they reflect on who they are at this stage of life.
The program facilitates and encourages participants to explore personal and professional possibilities while also providing an introduction to entrepreneurial activity.
The ReSet research project is supported by the Ontario Centre for Workforce Innovation, Ryerson University and the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development. The research will be looking at the efficacy of the ReSet program in diminishing internalized ageism and its effect on the entrepreneurial mindset.
This research study is being reviewed by the Ryerson Research Ethics Board.
The initiative is guided by a commitment to the following values:
- Lifelong learning
- Social Impact
In expectation of the launch of the project, the Top 60 Over 60 will be seeking interested individuals who meet the program criteria and are willing to participate in the research study.
The ReSet program is intended for those 55+ who are undergoing or anticipating any of the following transitions.
- Those currently working, dissatisfied with their roles and/or approaching retirement.
- Those who are tired of retirement and seeking opportunities to re-enter the labour force.
- Those in the 55 plus range who have lost their positions and are looking for new job opportunities.
